Enjoy our assortment of freshly cut sandwiches, moreish scones with jam and clotted cream, and delicate cakes, accompanied by a choice of popular teas, all amidst views of the stunning Northumbrian countryside. The perfect setting for an indulgent afternoon tea!

Afternoon tea is served between 2pm and 5pm Monday to Saturday. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for afternoon tea bookings, so please ensure you mention afternoon tea when you make your reservation.

Traditional afternoon tea

Enjoy sweet treats and an afternoon full of delight. Please advise us of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance. We offer a selection of finger sandwiches, scones and preserves including plain, fruit and cheese scones served with jam, clotted cream and butter and a selection of cakes.

Prosecco afternoon tea

For something slightly less traditional and a bit more indulgent, ask for our Prosecco afternoon tea. You’ll get all of the above goodies plus a chilled glass of Prosecco to sip. Please advise of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance.

Festive afternoon tea

During the holiday season, guests can enjoy a beautifully crafted selection of seasonal treats, including freshly baked scones, festive-themed cakes, and delicate finger sandwiches, all served alongside a variety of fine teas
